Our Commitment

Credico is committed to ensuring that its India website is accessible to all users, including persons with disabilities. We believe that everyone deserves equal access to information and the services we provide, and we strive to deliver a digital experience that is inclusive, usable, and welcoming to all.

Applicable Standards

This website aims to conform to the following guidelines and legal requirements:

  • WCAG 2.1 Level AA – Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), which form the internationally recognised benchmark for digital accessibility.

  • Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016 – India's primary legislation mandating equal access to information and communication technologies for persons with disabilities, including provisions under Sections 40, 42, and 46.

  • IS 17802 – India's Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) standard for accessibility of ICT products and services, structured around the principles of perceivability, operability, understandability, and robustness.

 
We have taken guidance from the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites and Apps (GIGW 3.0) as a framework of best practice, even where not strictly mandated for private-sector organisations.

Accessibility Features

We have implemented, or are working to implement, the following features across this website:

  • Alternative text for all meaningful images, so that screen reader users can access visual content

  • Keyboard navigation support throughout the site, without requiring a mouse

  • Logical heading structure and semantic HTML to assist assistive technology users in navigating content

  • Sufficient colour contrast between text and background to aid users with low vision

  • Descriptive link text that makes sense out of context

  • Resizable text without loss of content or functionality

  • No content that flashes more than three times per second, to protect users with photosensitive conditions

  • Accessible forms with clearly associated labels and error messages

Known Limitations

We are committed to continuous improvement. Some areas of this website may not yet fully meet the above standards. We are actively working to identify and remediate any accessibility gaps and welcome feedback to help us prioritise these efforts.
